Today is School Principal's Day and the DSD would like to salute K-12 Principal Shamonda Garner for all of her hard work, time, dedication, and the LOVE that she shows daily to our students, staff, parents, and community. We are FOREVER grateful for your impact on this school. You have grown from year to year and you continue to motivate your staff and students to improve continuously. Your tireless efforts don't go unnoticed! We love you!

The "show up" and "show out" DHS Prom Promenade 2021 starts at 7:00 p.m. tomorrow night! The walk to the Golden Garden Gala will be held at the back of Dermott Elementary School in the bus pad circle! You don't want to miss this year's beauties and cuties!

Please join Dermott High School CTE Family and Consumer Science Department in congratulating Zakiah Tyler for achieving CTE student of the week.
Zakiah is currently enrolled in family and consumer science leadership and service skills learning under the instruction of Mrs. Christy Toney.
Zakiah is very respectful and engaged. She is punctual in completing her tasks and she does so with a smile. Her kindness as well as her willingness to work hard, and her daily practice of treating others nicely is just a few of the ways to describe Zakiah’s character and values. She is a Sophomore with a very BRIGHT future.
Zakiah received a “It’s a Good Day to Be Happy” bag of goodies for being awarded CTE Student of the Week!
